HORSE TRAIL RIDING
Rides are available every day except Mondays (open on public holidays and closed the following day). A minimum age of 6 years and a maximum weight of 102 kg applies. Riders are required to wear enclosed footwear and long trousers. Helmets are provided. Bookings are essential.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS AND HIRE
Thunderbird Park on Mt Tamborine boasts an exciting network of Mountain Bike Trails to suit all riders from the nervous beginner to the fearless expert. The trails weave through beautiful rainforest and native bush taking you all the way to the top of the property and back now again. There are three levels of tracks Green Circle, Blue Square and Black Diamond.

ABSEILING
Rock climbing and abseiling are challenging and fun in this natural rainforest environment. Follow the wallaby tracks see breathtaking views across the mountains to Brisbane. Take the leap, abseil the 18-metre cliff, and land in the rainforest. It’s safe and supervised for beginners to experienced adventurers.

ADVENTURE PARC AUSTRALIA
Australia’s first Adventure Parc is the largest ropes and adventure games course in our country, stretching through Thunderbird Park’s ancient towering eucalypts commencing with a 7 metre high, 200 metre long rainforest aerial walkway. Added to this are 65 adventure games, 7 flying fox rides, Tarzan swinging ropes, suspended trapezes, single beams, double ropes, different types of bridges and much, much more. You are supplied with protective overalls, gloves and a harness, and experienced staff supervising your every move.

THUNDERBIRD PARK – Where Adventure joins Nature
Thunderbird Park is an amazing wildlife and geological rich oasis, stretching over 112 hectares on Tamborine Mountain. Translucent rock pools, inspiring landscapes, towering rainforests, star studded skies all add to the magic of Thunderbird Park. Activities include fossicking for your own treasures in the World’s largest mine of thundereggs, Australia’s first ‘Adventure Parc’ incorporating the largest ropes and adventure games’ course in our country, riding horse trails through ancient rainforests and gum studded grounds, laser skirmish, mini golf and, for in-house guests, swimming in natural rock pools and the resort’s salt water pool plus enjoyable bush walks.
